My whirlwind tour continues...

I arrived back in New Jersey on August 8th at my new friend Cheryl's house. I asked if I could go with Cheryl to work and she of course said yes. What kind of hostess would leave a guest at home. I was really excited, but Cheryl was very busy that day and so I had to entertain myself. First I ate all the chocolate at her desk.

Then I was worried about my figure so I went & weighed myself.

Then I was so tired from the sugar crash that I spent the rest of the day napping.

Now we are at the beach. This morning it is a little cool so we are wearing long sleeves but hoping the sun will come out soon. I hung out with Lightning McQueen for awhile and looked out at the beach from the deck.

We have 2 whole days left, so I am sure there will be more to come.

An Update on my travels!

I was on a cruise June 22 - 25 with Amy & Jen.
Here is what went on...

Oh goodness - I had SO much fun on the cruise!! I brought along my friend TJ - and we had a total blast. We had a great window in our State Room so we liked looking out and seeing what we were sailing past.

The two other girls we went with were fun - it was a celebration of Jennifer's birthday so the room was all decorated. There was this really cool birthday cake entirely of flowers. It felt so nice on the feet!!! Thank goodness for all the seasick tips we had - because we did not get sick the entire trip! Even after a few sips from the fancy drinks we could get in the fun collectable glasses at any of the bars. Not always sure what was in the drinks, but man were they ever yummy!!!

Jennifer and Amy had fun "cropping" but we were not really into that - so we
just hung out together. They kept telling us to hush up - I guess we
were bugging some of the more serious scrapbookers.

We got dressed up for dinner on Saturday night and it was a totalblast! There was singing and fancy food and everyone wore very pretty dresses. TJ - of course - had trouble deciding what dress to wear. We loved the whole cruise thing and can't wait to go again!!!

Unfortunately Amy & Jen were a little cheap & were unwilling to purchase a ticket for me. So in an effort to save money on travel expenses I was forced to hide in Amy's suitcase. What was really scary was her luggage was lost & I was MIA until July 16. I heard the rumors that were floating around about me on the MOJO board & my party ways. You will all have to wonder what I was really up to...I am sorry but I don't kiss & tell.

Where Am I now?

Sorry that I have not been keeping my blog up to date. I guess I must have been having way too much fun.

My Second Stop On My Journey~June 11-June16

Well after a fabulous time in Hawaii, Gabi dropped me off with Laura. We met her at IHOP for breakfast.

After a yummy breakfast I headed off to go see Laura's house.

The girls thought I could use a change. Laura had planned to bring me to Seaside & thought I could use some Jersey clothes & some Jersey hair. So they brought me to target and got me this cool skateboard & board shorts.

Next at Laura's house Rachel hooked me up with this radical red streak in my hair.

I think it makes me look kind of artsy.

Next we took a group shot before gabi headed home & left me to Laura's care.

The next morning Laura got me up early & Caleb, Rachel, Laura, & I packed up & got in the car & headed to Seaside. I was so excited to see the Jersey shore. I mean Hawaii is nice, but nothing beats New Jersey's beaches.

Unfortunately it was rainy in Seaside so we only stopped to have this one picture taken...check out the ocean behind me. As you can see Ray & I are freezing our tooshies off.

So we decided to get back in the car & head towards Somerville again. Well the sky cleared up a bit & Laura & the kids suggested we stop at another Jersey beach, Sandy Hook. So we were off again on another adventure.

Here are some shots of me at Sandy Hook. In the first one I am relaxing on my towel. If you look closely you can see my new tattoo (Laura's husband David gave me a few too many glasses of red wine & the next thing I knew I woke up with a tribal tattoo around my ankle. Wow Laura & her husband really know how to show their friends a good time)& it didn't hurt a bit. In the other shot I am relaxing on the bridge of the sand castle that Caleb & Rachel built for me.

I have had a really good time visiting the beautiful Garden State, but I am ready to head off for my cruise. I will post again when I am packed & headed out to meet Amy & Jen!

My 1st Excursion! Destination; Oahu, HAWAII ~ May 28 - June 9

Hi! My name is MJ! My home base is over at Scrappin' Mojo.
I have just started on an epic journey around the world! My 1st stop was in NJ where I joined up with Gabi and her family and we promptly jet-setted off to Hawaii!

Shopping was a highlight of the trip! Look at these funky Tikis! I just had to stop and pose with them!




















Every evening we'd walk over to Waikiki beach and play in the waterfall pools and on the beach. There's NOTHING like the beach at night! It's such a calming, relaxing place to be!















We're back in NJ now and I'm off to spend time with Laura and her family! Stay tuned, I'll be blogging again real soon!
